Our Square Umbrella Base is zinc primed and powder-coated for durability, with a raised design and screw-in levelling feet so it sits steady even on an uneven surface.

Most bases use the same coating everywhere. We treat the base plate and the stem differently, choosing the pretreatment that actually suits each part, so the stem is protected on the inside of the tube as well as the outside, not just the surface you can see.

Recommended for centre-pole umbrellas up to a 2.1m canopy diameter on a level surface. For extra stability in exposed spots, install through a suitable table or add weight. Not suitable for cantilever or offset umbrellas.

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and a mild, neutral detergent if required. Do not rinse or hose the product, and avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, solvents or high-pressure water.
Prevent water from entering the fixing pole or any openings, and keep the inside of the pole dry at all times. Remove salt, chlorine and dirt promptly, then wipe the product completely dry.
Protect the surface coating from scratches, chips and impact during installation, use and storage. Tighten the fixing pole by hand only and do not overtighten, as excessive force may damage the coating or reduce corrosion resistance. Do not overtighten the hand-tightening bolts, as this may scratch or damage the umbrella pole.
Safety
Suitable for centre-pole umbrellas only, with a recommended maximum canopy of 2.1m on a level surface. Not suitable for cantilever or offset umbrellas. Always close and secure the umbrella during strong winds, severe weather, or when it's left unattended.
