Whether it’s a concrete edge, timber bench, stone seat or tiled ledge, this cushion turns any hard surface into a soft, comfortable place to relax. Designed for the poolside, but equally at home around the fire pit, on a retaining wall, boat deck, or bench seat — it’s the ultimate multi-functional comfort upgrade for outdoor living.

Unpacking & Cushion Recovery:
Your cushion has been carefully packaged and vacuum-sealed for safe transport
Cushion Expansion
- After opening, allow the cushion to sit in a well-ventilated area for 24–48 hours to fully expand and return to its original shape.
- Gently pat, tap or fluff the cushion with both hands to help speed up the recovery process.
- Placing the cushion in indirect sunlight or a warm room will also assist with expansion.
About Wrinkles & Creasing:
- Due to the vacuum sealing, some minor wrinkling or creases may still be visible after expansion — this is normal and will generally settle with use.
- If you'd like to help minimise any remaining wrinkles:
- Use a fabric wrinkle release spray (available from most supermarkets or department stores).
- Lightly steam with a handheld steamer or iron using low heat only.
⚠ Important: Olefin fabric is heat sensitive. Always use the lowest heat setting when steaming or ironing to avoid fabric damage.
Once unpacked, your Poolside Cushion will gradually relax and settle into its intended shape and appearance.
Cleaning & Care:
With some simple care, your Poolside Cushion will stay looking great for years.
Routine Cleaning:
- Use warm soapy water with a soft brush to spot clean.
- Rinse thoroughly with a hose and allow to air dry completely.
For Heavier Stains:
- Remove the cover using the zipper on the back.
- Machine wash on a gentle cold cycle (water temperature not exceeding 40°C).
- Zip cover closed before washing.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not dry clean.
- Iron on low heat if necessary.
- Always lay flat to dry fully before re-using.
Storage & Maintenance:
- Always ensure the inner cushion filling is completely dry before storing.
- When not in use for extended periods, store your cushion in a cool, dry place to prevent prolonged UV exposure and material degradation.
- Regular cleaning and dry storage will extend the lifespan of your cushion.

- Use only for its intended purpose.
- Dispose of all packaging thoughtfully and keep out of reach of children.
- Damage resulting from misuse or inappropriate use will not be covered under the Silux Quality Guarantee.
⚠ Important: When opening the packaging, please take extra care when cutting into the outer plastic cover. We recommend using scissors or a blunt-tipped tool and avoiding sharp blades. Cutting too deep may accidentally damage the cushion inside. Dispose of all plastic packaging thoughtfully and keep out of reach of children.
